A lifestyle family session is all about capturing your family just as you are — connected, playful, and full of love. Instead of stiff posing, I focus on genuine moments: the laughter, the cuddles, the quiet in-between interactions that tell your family’s real story.
As a lifestyle family photographer based in Lake Stevens, I photograph families throughout Snohomish County, King County, and the Pacific Northwest. Sessions can take place outdoors — in parks, near lakes, in open fields, or in the mountains during golden hour — or in the comfort of your own home during the day.
During your session, I’ll gently guide you with a few natural prompts, but most of the time I’m observing and capturing authentic connection. A mix of lightly posed portraits and candid storytelling images allows your gallery to feel both timeless and real. Above all, my goal is to preserve meaningful moments you’ll look back on for years to come.
Session details and what to expect
I want your family session to feel like a breath of fresh air — relaxed, joyful, and completely pressure-free. This is your time to slow down, forget the to-do lists, and simply be present with the people you love most.
My sessions are laid-back and child-led. There’s no expectation for little ones to sit still or behave a certain way. If they want to explore, collect rocks, splash in the water, or run barefoot — that’s perfect. Those are the moments that make your photos meaningful.
For moms especially — I want you to feel beautiful, confident, and seen. I’ll guide you gently, choose flattering light, and create a space where you can truly relax and enjoy the experience.
Every session is thoughtfully planned around your family’s unique personality, style, and energy — from location choice to timing. You can expect a gallery filled with authentic moments, emotional connection, and the small details you never want to forget.
